Help 2, Sharing Made Simple
We share the benefits of products with people all the time. When you eat at a really good restaurant, you tell all your friends they must try the food. When someone asks if there are any good shows on, you give them a recommendation. We look to the people we trust to give us real reviews and recommendations all the time.
In this class, we are going to give you ideas on how you can generate more personal stories with your products and give you several ways to share Young Living without being pushy or salesy.
Be a Product of the Product
Use your products every single day to create personal testimonies. Personal stories make sharing genuine and authentic. Plus, when you use the products regularly, you will notice a difference in the way you feel, which is why you got involved in the first place!
Explore Outside the PSB
Start exploring products outside the Premium Starter Bundle (PSB) right away. Make it a point to swap out and try 1-3 new YL products every month. This allows you to build more testimonies and support your health that much more!
Make sure you are ordering these on Essential Rewards. It is the BEST way to save money and get free stuff! If you want to learn more about all the Loyalty Rewards benefits go HERE.
Not sure where to start? Make it your mission to sprinkle YL throughout your house. Sprinkling YL throughout your house will help you use YL products regularly to support your health and build testimonies at the same time. It will also serve as a casual advertisement if you have guests over. With YL sprinkled everywhere, there is no way they can miss it and it often strikes up a conversation.
PRO TIP: Make sure you have a Thieves, Lemon, or Lavender hand soap in the guest bathroom! That’s one place they will probably visit and will NEED to use the product.
Use your product guide to explore the product lines and make your shopping list!

Use Your Products In Front of Others
When you use them in front of your friends, they almost always ask “What is that?!” Use an oil on yourself or do something like eat a wolfberry crisp bar. It doesn't matter what it is; it can most definitely strike up a conversation.
Recommend a Product
We often make recommendations to our friends and family about the latest and greatest things we are personally experiencing or using. When they share their new favorite podcast, you ask if they have heard of your favorite podcast. When they tell you about this new Mexican restaurant, you tell them about another great Mexican restaurant they should try. Bottom line is... we recommend things ALL the time - restaurants, TV shows, podcasts, fitness classes, and health products.
When you are catching up with friends and they express needs, use it as an opportunity to ask if you can make a recommendation. If they say yes, share with them how a YL product may be beneficial.
If you have no idea what product may be good for their expressed needs, use your reference materials. Look up what they could try, and share the recommendation. It is important to share compliantly. When you speak to wellness vs illness you are able to stay compliant. Be honest and tell them you haven’t used this yet, but you hear it’s great and would be worth a try!

We post pictures of ourselves, friends, family members, and things we are doing all the time. We also make recommendations in our social media stories and feed often. The last time you posted a picture of your meal, said “SOOO GOOD” and tagged that restaurant in the photo, you were totally making a recommendation to your friends and giving that restaurant free marketing!
What if you got paid for every person that went to eat there because of what you posted?
You may not be able to convince the restaurant to give you a little piece of their pie for referring others, but Young Living says thank you for sharing by giving you cash in your pocket!
There are so many ways to casually share or recommend Young Living on social media without being salesy. Sometimes you don’t even have to show the product in your picture to spark a conversation that leads to oily talk. Share regularly how you are living life, the fun things you are doing, the things you love. If you are using Young Living regularly, it will inevitably get sprinkled into your posts in an authentic, genuine way.
To be even more intentional, be consistent. Studies show that it can take seeing an ad up to 20 times before someone decides to buy. Posting consistently* will ensure you are being seen when someone is ready to say YES!
We aren't telling you to constantly post a salesy ad saying, “This is great for XYZ, buy it here!" and post your link. FB will hide your post if you do that. If social media is your jam, get your face on social media on a regular basis. Sprinkle YL into your posts here and there and make sure people know you are their go-to person for getting oily.
*If you have been sharing consistently on social media and it hasn’t sparked any conversations, reach out to the person who invited you. They can take a look at your posts and make some suggestions as to how you can increase engagement.
Infuse Your Hangouts with Oils
If you enjoy entertaining in your space, put an oily twist on your get-together.
If you are crafty, host a DIY night. Charge for supplies and make a few oily goodies.
If you love food, infuse your food with YL and share the recipes and health benefits on the recipe cards.
If you are someone who likes to pamper others, host a pamper party. Let people come over and do facials with YL products. Charge the cost of the supplies and have a blast!

Help 2
Think about the person that invited you to try Young Living. Think about all the good that has come from that person sharing with you. Aren’t you so grateful that they shared with you? What if you could change someone's life as your enroller did yours?
Now that you have realized how much we rely on each other to recommend products and how much we appreciate it when people invite us to try new things, it’s time to think about two people you want to recommend YL to and invite to try Young Living. Who could really benefit from these products?
It could be a family member, a childhood friend, a current friend or neighbor, a coworker, or someone from your church, fitness club, or child's school. We know so many people and meet new people almost every day.
Make an impact in your community and share these products with the people you know. Make it a personal mission to help two people in your inner circle get their very own Young Living Premium Starter Kit.
The added bonus to helping your friends get their own membership is that when they use your member number or personal sign-up link to order, you will get a 25% thank-you check (commission) from Young Living on their first order and every order they place in their first three calendar months. After this, commission resumes at normal rates (see the compensation plan for more info).
Young Living makes it convenient to embrace a healthy lifestyle providing health and abundance. Who will you serve by sharing YL!?
*In order to receive your 25% bonus from Young Living, you must intentionally choose (or have already chosen) to be a Brand Partner.
Find Your Referral Link
In order to ensure your friends and family sign up under you so you can get your thank-you check, you must have them use your personal YL member number.
You can simply give them your member number and they can plug it into the Referral ID spot on the Young Living website when they create their account OR you can text or email them your personal sign-up link. They will not need to type in your member number if you give them your personal sign-up link.
To get your personal sign-up link, log into your account HERE.
Click "My Account" on the right-hand side.
Click on "Account Details". On the left sidebar towards the bottom, click “Share YL.”
Click “Copy Link” and then share it with those who are ready to order.
