Premium Starter Kit Recipes
Now that you have your Essential Oils Premium Starter Kit (PSK) in your hands, it’s time to put it to great use. In addition to using the oils on their own for your personal wellness goals, you can combine the oils and mix in other ingredients to make natural products to meet your needs as well. Here you will find many recipes you can make using just the oils in your PSK.
The amount of essential oil in these recipes is pretty conservative to meet the sensitive needs of brand-new oilers. As your body gets comfortable with essential oils, you may increase the number of drops of essential oil to create the strength that best meets your needs.
A couple of safety tips to keep in mind specific to these recipes:
1. If you get oils into your eyes, flush with a carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, or olive oil. Do NOT flush with water as it will drive the oils into your eye quickly and increase the burning sensation.
2. Lemon and Citrus Fresh are definitely photosensitive oils and should not be put on the skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight or UV rays as it will increase absorption of UV rays and may cause redness or sunburns. Be sure to apply to areas that will be covered. If you do apply to an exposed area, wait at least 12 hours before direct sun or UV ray exposure.

Lavender Recipes
Lavender Sugar Scrub
Ingredients:
· 6 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· 1/2 cup Raw Sugar
· 1/4 cup Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
· 4 oz. Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Put the raw sugar, coconut oil, and lavender essential oil into a glass bowl. Mix the ingredients together and place the mixture into the glass mason jar. Use this amazing sugar scrub to exfoliate your hands and body.
Seasonal Wellness Support
Ingredients:
· 8 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· 6 drops YL Lemon Essential Oil
· 6 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· Fractionated Coconut Oil (or choice of carrier oil)
· 10mL Glass Roll-On Bottle (with metal or glass roller)
Directions: Add all essential oils to the roller bottle.Fill the rest of the bottle with carrier oil. Put on the roller top. It's helpful to place the top in the bottle and then screw on the cap to ensure the roller clicks into place completely. Apply over your sinuses (avoiding your eyes) and on your chest.
Pro-Tip: Add 6 drops of Copaiba to help reduce inflammation from seasonal irritations.
Lavender Pillow Spray
Ingredients:
· 10 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz. Glass spray bottle
Directions: Add Lavender essential oil into the spray bottle and then fill with distilled water. Put on the spray bottle top. Shake well and spray pillows and sheets before bedtime.

Ingredients:
· 7 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· 4 Tbsp Jojoba Oil (or choice of carrier oil)
· 4 Tbsp Distilled Water
· 2 Tbsp Witch Hazel (non-alcohol)
· 4 oz. Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Add all of the ingredients to the glass mason jar. Mix the ingredients together. Add a small amount of the mixture onto a cotton round and use to remove make-up from your face.
soothing skin spray
Ingredients:
· 12 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· Aloe Vera Gel
· 1 tsp Witch Hazel (non-alcohol)
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz Glass Spray Bottle
Directions: Pour witch hazel into the spray bottle and then fill 1/2 of the bottle with Aloe Vera gel. Add Lavender essential oil to the bottle and fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. Put on the spray bottle top. Shake well before spraying onto your skin for a cooling and soothing feeling.
Peppermint Recipes
cooling spray
Ingredients:
· 8 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz. Glass Spray Bottle
Directions: Add Peppermint Essential Oil into the spray bottle and fill with water. Put on the spray bottle top. Shake well. Spray onto the back of your neck or body to cool off making sure to avoid your eyes.
peppermint foot soak
Ingredients:
· 10 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· 1/3 cup Epsom Salt
· 4 oz. Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Put the Epsom Salt and Peppermint essential oils into a glass mason jar. Mix the salt and essential oils together. Add to a foot bath to cool and soothe your feet.
energizing roll-on
Ingredients:
· 5 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· 7 drops YL Lemon Essential Oil
· Fractionated Coconut Oil (or choice of carrier oil)
· 10mL Glass Roll-On Bottle (with glass or metal roller)
Directions: Add essential oils into the roll-on bottle.Fill the rest of the bottle with carrier oil. Put on the roller top. It's helpful to place the top in the bottle and then screw on the cap to ensure the roller clicks into place completely. Apply to the back of your neck and wrists when needing extra energy.
lavender mint bath salts
Ingredients:
· 1 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· 4 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· 1 cup Epsom Salt
· Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Put the Epsom Salt, Peppermint essential oil, and Lavender essential oil into a glass mason jar. Mix the salt and essential oils together. Add to a warm bath water for relaxation and to support your respiratory system.

Ingredients:
· 1 drops YL Peppermint Vitality Essential Oil
· 1 Tbsp Raw Honey
· Filtered water
· Glass, Stainless Steel, or Ceramic Mug (NO plastic)
Directions: Heat up water and pour into a mug. Add Peppermint Vitality Essential Oil and Raw Honey to the mug. Mix together and drink to support healthy digestion.
Thieves Recipes
shoe freshening spray
Ingredients:
· 10 drops YL Thieves Essential Oil
· 10 drops YL Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz. Glass Spray Bottle
Directions: Add the essential oils to the glass spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. Put on the spray bottle top. Shake well and spray into your shoes daily.
fresh breath spray
Ingredients:
· 1 drop YL Thieves Essential Oil
· 3 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· Distilled water
· 5mL Glass Spray Bottle
Directions: Add the essential oils to the glass bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. Put on the spray bottle top. Shake well and spray into your mouth to freshen your breath.
healthy tea alternative
Ingredients:
· 1 drop YL Thieves Vitality Essential Oil
· 1 drop YL Lemon Vitality Essential Oil
· 1 Tbsp Raw Honey
· Filtered Water
· Glass, Ceramic, or Stainless-Steel Mug (NO plastic)
Directions: Heat up water and pour into the mug. Add the essential oils and raw Honey. Stir and enjoy to support your immune system.
Pro Tip: Add 1 drop of Copaiba to this recipe to help reduce inflammation and irritation of your throat.
thieves & lemon throat support
Ingredients:
· 7 drops YL Thieves Vitality Essential Oil
· 1 Lemon, peeled and sliced
· Raw Honey
· 4 oz. Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Peel and slice a lemon. Add the lemon pieces to the mason jar. Pour raw honey into the jar until the jar is full (around 10 tsp). Add Thieves Vitality essential oil and stir into the mixture. Add 1 teaspoon of the mixture to a cup of warm water and drink. (Or simply eat the teaspoon of Thieves and Lemon infused honey.) Store the jar in the refrigerator.
PanAway Recipes
joint & muscle support
Ingredients:
· 5 drops YL PanAway Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Valor Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· Fractionated Coconut Oil (or choice of carrier oil)
· 10mL Glass Roll-On Bottle (with glass or metal roller)
Directions: Add the essential oils to the glass roller bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with carrier oil. Put on the roller top. It's helpful to place the top in the bottle and then screw on the cap to ensure the roller clicks into place completely. Apply onto your joints and muscles that need support.
Pro Tip: Add 5 drops of Copaiba to the recipe to help reduce inflammation.
panaway mint muscle rub
Ingredients:
· 8 drops YL PanAway Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· 1/2 cup Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
· 4 oz. Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Add the coconut oil, PanAway essential oil, and Peppermint Essential Oil to the glass mason jar. Mix the ingredients together. Apply the rub onto your muscles after exercise or on areas that just need some support.
DiGize Recipes
Digestive Support
Ingredients:
· 8 drops YL DiGize Essential Oil
· 6 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil

· 8 drops YL Raven Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Lemon Essential Oil

Ingredients:
· 4 drops YL Raven Essential Oil
· 4 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· Water
· Diffuser
Directions: Add water to the fill line of the diffuser. Add Raven and Lavender to the water. Put the top of the diffuser back on and turn on the diffuser. Sit near the diffuser to energize your body and support your respiratory system.
Frankincense Recipes
face firming cream
Ingredients:
· 8 drops YL Frankincense Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· 3 drops YL Lemon Essential Oil
· 1/4 cup Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
· 4 oz Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Put coconut oil in a glass mixing bowl and use a hand mixer to whip the coconut oil. Add the Frankincense, Lavender, and Lemon essential oils to the coconut oil and mix together. Place the mixture in the glass mason jar and apply onto your face at night.

· 4 drops YL Frankincense Essential Oil
· 4 drops Stress Away Essential Oil
· Water
· Diffuser
Directions: Add water to the fill line of the diffuser. Add Frankincense and Stress Away to the water. Put the top of the diffuser back on and turn on the diffuser. Sit near the diffuser to uplift your spirits.
Citrus Fresh Recipes
all-natural air freshener
Ingredients:
· 7 drops YL Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
· 7 drops YL Thieves Essential Oil
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz Glass Spray Bottle
Directions: Add essential oils to glass bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water and put on the spray bottle top. Shake well before spraying into the air to eliminate odors.
carpet freshener
Ingredients:
· 10 drops YL Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
· 8 drops YL Stress Away Essential Oil
· 1/2 cup Baking Soda
· Glass Spice Container
Directions: Put baking soda in a glass bowl. Add Citrus Fresh and Stress Away to the baking soda and mix together. Place the mixture into the glass spice container. Sprinkle onto the carpet. Allow to sit for 15 minutes and then vacuum.
*Always test in a small area first.
classroom freshener spray
Ingredients:
· 6 drops YL Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
· 6 drops YL Thieves Essential Oil
· 4drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz Glass Spray Bottle
Directions: Add essential oils to glass bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water and put on the spray bottle top. Shake well before spraying into the air to create a calming environment for the students.
Lemon Recipes
Avocado Lemon Dip
Ingredients:
· 8 drops YL Lemon Vitality Essential Oil
· 2 Ripe Organic Avocados
· 1 Tbsp of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
· Salt, Pepper, and Oregano
Directions: Cut up avocados into cubes and put into a glass bowl. Add Lemon Vitality and olive oil to the avocados. Sprinkle a pinch of salt, pepper, and oregano to your taste. Mix it all together gently. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
delicious shrimp marinade
Ingredients:
· 3 drops YL Lemon Vitality Essential Oil
· 2 pounds Shrimp, deveined & shells removed
· 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
· 1 Tbsp Chopped Parsley
· 1/2 Tbsp Salt
· 1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
· 1/4 Cup Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions: Combine all ingredients except the shrimp in a glass bowl. Add shrimp to the marinade. Put shrimp on skewers and cook on the barbecue or broil in the oven until fully cooked.
lavender lemon foaming hand soap
Ingredients:
· 12 Drops YL Lemon Essential Oil
· 12 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· 3 Tbsp YL Bath & Shower Gel Base*
· Distilled Water
· 18 oz. Glass Foaming Soap Bottle (or high-grade plastic recycle code #1)
Directions: Add Lemon and Lavender essential oils into the bottle. Add Bath & Shower Gel Base to the bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water SLOWLY to avoid bubbling over. Put on the foaming bottle top. Keep this refreshing hand soap in your kitchen or bathroom.
*You can also use Castile soap, but this may be drying to your skin.
coconut lemon body scrub
Ingredients:
· 12 drops YL Lemon Essential Oil
· 1/2 cup Raw Sugar
· 1/4 cup Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
· 4 oz. Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Put the raw sugar, coconut oil, and Lemon essential oil into a glass mason jar. Mix together. Use this invigorating scrub to exfoliate your body.

Ingredients:
· 10 drops YL Lemon Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Thieves Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Peppermint Essential Oil
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz. Glass Spray Bottle

Homemade play dough
Ingredients:
· 10 drops YL Stress Away Essential Oil
· 3 cups flour
· 3 cups Distilled Water
· 1 cup Salt
· 3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
· 1 Tbsp Cream of Tartar
· Food Coloring (natural is preferred)
· Storage Container
Directions: Mix all the ingredients, EXCEPT the Stress Away essential oil, together in a glass bowl. Pour the mixture into a frying pan and stir over low heat. Cook until the play dough is no longer sticky. Place play dough onto wax paper and let it cool down. Add Stress Away essential oil to the play dough. Now you are ready to use the play dough. Store in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out. Before using the play dough again, you may add a few drops of Stress Away to it to refresh the scent.
Peace & Calming Recipes
relaxation bath salts
Ingredients:
· 5 drops YL Peace & Calming Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Stress Away Essential Oil
· 1 cup Epsom Salt
· Glass Mason Jar
Directions: Put the Epsom Salt, Peace & Calming essential oil, and Stress Away essential oil into a glass mason jar. Mix the salt and essential oils together. Add to a warm bath water for a relaxing experience.
hair detangling spray
Ingredients:
· 10 drops YL Peace & Calming Essential Oil
· 1 Tbsp Vitamin E Oil
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz. Glass spray bottle
Directions: Add Peace & Calming essential oil and Vitamin E oil into the spray bottle and then fill with distilled water. Put on the spray bottle top. Shake well and spray into wet hair. Comb through wet hair.
bye-bye monster spray
Ingredients:
· 5 drops YL Peace & Calming Essential Oil
· 5 drops YL Lavender Essential Oil
· Distilled Water
· 2 oz. Glass spray bottle
Directions: Add Peace & Calming and Lavender essential oil into the spray bottle and then fill with distilled water. Put on the spray bottle top. Shake well. Spray your child’s bed and around the room before bedtime to help support a good night’s sleep.

Ningxia Red Recipes
ningxia red berry smoothie
Ingredients:
· 2 oz. Ningxia Red
· 2 drops YL Lemon Vitality Essential Oil
· 6 oz. Milk of your choice
· 1/4 cup Blueberries
· 3 Strawberries
· 1 Banana
· 1 cup Ice
Directions: Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until it's a smoothie consistency. Pour into a glass, drink, and enjoy!
ningxia red punch
Ingredients:
· 3 oz. Ningxia Red
· 1 drop YL Thieves Vitality Essential Oil
· 3 drops YL Lemon Vitality Essential Oil
· 46 oz. Peach Mango Juice
· 2 cups Filtered Water
Directions: Pour all of the ingredients into a glass pitcher and mix together. Drink and enjoy!
Thieves Cleaner Recipe

Ingredients:
· 3 cups baking soda
· ¾ cup Thieves Household Cleaner concentrate
· 1 Tbsp distilled vinegar
· 30 drops Lemon essential oil
· Glass Storage Container
Directions: In a large glass bowl, mix together Thieves Household cleaner, vinegar, and Lemon. Slowly mix in baking soda and stir to combine. Once thoroughly mixed, transfer to an airtight glass container for storage.
