HELLO, HAPPY MAIL!
Who loves getting happy mail??? When I get something in my mailbox or on my doorstep that isn’t bills or junk mail, my heart does a little happy dance! I especially love packages on my doorstep - even if it’s necessities from Amazon. I mean…. mom of a few kids here. Anytime I don’t have to go to the store is a win for me!

The Details
Loyalty Rewards is the greatest thing in the world - except for a nice MLT - mutton, lettuce, and tomato sandwich! (‘Princess Bride’ fans, anyone??) Seriously, though. If you’re like me, the thought of paying loads of money to kick all the toxins to the curb when I first wanted to clean up our lifestyle was overwhelming! However, I didn’t want ingredients in my house with cancer warnings that I had to call Poison Control over if my kids swallowed.
Loyalty Rewards (LR) came to the rescue. LR is program that is the best monthly subscription box you will ever get. I might be a bit biased, but once you read about all of the savings you will see why!!!! 🎁
Joining LR is committing to purchase 50 PV every month. PV actually stands for PERSONAL VOLUME, however, for this to make more sense, in this post I am referring to PV as product value or point value. Usually, the Product Value is dollar for dollar in price value, but not always. Look at the PV of each product you are purchasing to make sure your PV (not necessarily amount spent) equals 50 every month.
What do you get from all of these purchases? MAJOR SAVINGS! 🙌🏼 With the Loyalty Rewards program, you will earn points toward future product purchases. This program *REWARDS* you for every month’s purchase of 50 PV or more!!! You are allowed ONE Loyalty Rewards purchase per month, but can make as many regular orders as you wish. (Regular orders do not accumulate LR points.) After 3+ years of being on Loyalty Rewards, I have received THOUSANDS of dollars worth of free products from Young Living. My Target Red Card hasn’t been that good to me (and I do love me some Target – the employees there actually know me by name)!
THE REWARDS
How do you earn points??? Through ordering!!!
Each month on the Loyalty Rewards program helps you to earn points – a percentage of what you purchase back in points that you can cash in at a later time to buy other magical Young Living products!
In the first 3 months (months 1 – 3), you get 10% back in LR point credits!
In the next 21 months (months 4 – 24), you get 20% back in LR point credits!
Every month after the 25th month, you get 25% back in LR point credits!!!!
Y’all, this all adds up QUICKLY!!! If you’re taking advantage of monthly promotions and earning all the freebies along the way, you will see just how quickly your stash grows. Your points begin to rack up as soon as your order ships, and you can view your LR points every time you log in to your account under the “My Rewards” tab. The points being visible is awesome - unless you’re like me and they burn a hole in your (virtual) pocket.
What does this mean, practically speaking? Let’s look at a hypothetical scenario:You join Loyalty Rewards on September 1. You order $100 of product, which is worth (in this case, and most cases) 100 PV. You earn 10% of that PV back in ‘points’ to redeem whenever you like plus an essential oil freebie. So, for this order, you’ve earned 10 PV.
The second month, October, you order 190 PV worth of product. Happily, at 100 PV Young Living begins to send you lots of free products. So this month, not only do you earn 10% back in points to spend on product (so 19 PV which gets added to the 10 PV from last month, equaling 29 PV total now in your account)…you also get their free goodies.
The third month, November, you order 250 PV worth of product. Again, 250 PV represents the ‘next level up’ for freebies from Young Living, so you would get not only another 25 points to spend on products (now you’re at 54 points) you get a whole slew of amazing goodies. You also get your special 3-month loyalty present.
The fourth month, December, the amount you earn back in points jumps from 10% to 20%. So you buy 2pv00 worth of product and get a whopping 40 points back to spend in free product, bringing you up to 94 points redeemable pretty much dollar for dollar in the Young Living store–oils, skin care products, you name it, all free. These points can be spent at any time!
PV Assistant
This is an important detail! If you skip a month ordering, intentionally or unintentionally, you lose your position in Loyalty Rewards, lose any accumulated LR points, go back to month one and go back to earning 10%. Young Living doesn’t want you to lose out, and because they are always watching out for us, they created “PV Assistant.” You can set up PV Assistant under the Loyalty Rewards tab when signed into your Young Living account. You enter what your PV priority is (the PV level you don’t want to fall below), and if a product ever goes out-of-stock and you don’t notice… no biggie! PV Assistant will add products in your list until it reaches your PV goal. You get to choose the items on your restocking list so you always get something you want. A good tip is to add lower priced items to your list because the assistant will add items to your LR in the order you list them until your specified minimum PV is met. Awesome, right?
NEW MONTH, NEW ORDER
You’re probably wondering, “Do I have to order the same things every single month?” No! That’s what makes Loyalty Rewards more beautiful than Princess Buttercup! You can change what you order every. single. month. The only “minimum” you have to reach to earn loyalty points is 50 PV. There are NO other requirements at all! This is a fantastic way to build your oil supply and try new oils, supplements, and lifestyle products!!!
It is super-easy to change your orders each month. Simply login to your Young Living account, click on Loyalty Order in the navigation menu. Here you can quick add products to your order or remove items you no longer want to get your cart just like you want it. It automatically saves your order as you go.
HEALTH GOALS
Loyalty Rewards is the best way to save money while working on your health goals. We all have things we would like to work on! Any stressed out and overworked peeps in here? Looking to get a better night’s sleep and maybe drop a few pounds? What about your skin that’s gone haywire since that last kiddo was born? All health goals. All reasons to be on Loyalty Rewards!!!!
Here are my tips:
Determine what area of your life/health you want to work on.
Pull out your handy dandy resource books (I recommend the Essential Oil Complete Home Reference guide by Life & Science Publishing) and look up what’s driving you batty in the ‘Personal Usage’ section.
Make your list of oils and products that will support your health goals.
Poke around (use the search feature) our Facebook groups for testimonies or post questions to ask other members for help, suggestions, and support.
Determine your budget! You have big goals here! Investing in your health now can save you loads of money down the road when you will wish you *would have* invested in your health!
Prioritize! Which oils, products and/or supplements do you want to try this month? What about next month? Your third month on LR?
Commit. Commit to your health. You didn’t get to the place where you’re at overnight, and you’re probably not going to reach your goal sporadically dabbing some oils here and there. This is a lifestyle and your body needs some time (sometimes) to feel its best.
Place your LR order! You have a plan for your first 3 months on LR now.

You might be thinking… “I don’t have $50-100 extra to spend right now,” and I’ll tell you that you are NOT alone. redeeming points
We are getting to the good stuff, right? After two consecutive months in the program, you can redeem your points.
When redeeming your points, pay careful attention to the item or items’ POINT VALUE, not price. As I mentioned above, most oils have a dollar-for-dollar, price-to-point amount, but not all. If you are wondering how much point value you have to “spend,” here is an example:
If you have 100 points in your account, you can redeem them for any product with a PV value up to 100 PV.
If you have 100 points in your account, you can redeem them for multiple products that have a TOTAL PV of up to 100.
All LR points redemption must be placed via regular order (“Add to Cart”). You cannot use these on your Loyalty Rewards order. When redeeming your points, please be aware that they do not cover shipping. To pay with points, during checkout in the payment section, check the box next to the products you want to apply points to. It’s that simple. Here’s the deal…. People don’t know what they don’t know until we tell them. What if?
If you decide the LR program is not a good fit for you (though I cannot imagine that), we will be bummed to see you go, but that’s ok! Before you cancel, just make sure to cash in any accumulated reward points because once you cancel, they are gone. Use up those points, and then either call YL customer service to cancel or simply remove all items from your Loyalty Order cart, with no penalties and no hassles.
It’s also important to put another reminder here that if you skip a month ordering, intentionally or unintentionally, that you lose your position in Loyalty Rewards, lose any accumulated LR points, go back to month one and go back to earning 10%. Make sure that you’re signed up for “PV Assistant” to prevent this!
If you even think you are going to be placing an order every month, it is SO worth it to get on the LR program! It will save you a bundle in the long run. I promise.

Let’s talk shipping!
When I order a Young Living package, what can I expect? What are the tips and tricks from leaders for making it the best shipping experience?
I gotcha covered!
First things first, if you ever have an issue, the best place to take it is privately to your nearest leader. Posting in the groups tends to cause a negativity dog-pile, and that's just not very fun for anybody. The one who can actually help you do something about it is likely your enroller or sponsor, and if not them, then your upline Silver or Gold and so on.
Know that your Loyalty Rewards order processes at 12:01a.m., the very BEGINNING of the date selected. Be sure your order is updated the day before it is set to process. So, if your order date is on the 7th of the month, be sure to update your Loyalty Order cart on the 6th.
When pushing an order through, make sure the order processes before noon if you want it to truly process that day. It will sit till the next day if it's after Noon (MST).
Early in the week is a guarantee it will be shipped out before that weekend. Monday or Tuesday is our best bet because an order may take up to 3 business days to process. Ordering on Thursday or Friday usually means it won't ship until the following week.
If your order is scheduled for anything after the 20th, we are to expect slower shipping because it's the busiest time of the month. YL suggests that orders process no later than the 20th if getting your orders in a timely fashion is imperative. Also, if your orders are scheduled for anything after the 20th and 25th the latest, we run the risk of things going awry. What can go awry, you ask? Something goes out of stock and we lose PV. Payment declined for whatever reason and isn’t caught before the end of them month, risking skipping a month and losing rewards.
Shipping will take longer over a holiday weekend.
Expect 2-3 BUSINESS days for an order to process.
Young Living is closed for major holidays.
The actual travel time to your destination is calculated by the carrier, not Young Living. Remember that once something leaves Young Living's warehouse, it is the shipping carrier that is responsible. Have a package bouncing all around? Contact the carrier (for example, FedEx) to resolve the problem. If it’s been bouncing around for a while (you can see this in the carrier’s tracking history), go ahead and call Young Living or your closest leader to help you get it resolved.
Saturday delivery is not available in all areas. And packages don't ship on weekends. If you see a shipment notification late on Friday, it is likely just a shipping label, no movement will take place until Monday.
And as always, remember that there are real people bottling, labeling, boxing and shipping your goodies. So thank you for being patient and kind with Young Living if you need to contact them about a package!
commissions
Being on Loyalty Rewards makes sure that you do not miss out on any commissions. If you are building a business, or sharing YL with people, your absolute best bet to ensure you don’t miss out on anything: bonuses, commissions, AND those great LR points – is to place at least a 100 PV order on Loyalty Rewards. However, LR is not a requirement to receive a paycheck.
